Testing of Probes for Network Traffic Monitoring
Sobol, Jan ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
In order to ensure a secure and stable Internet, administrators need tools for network monitoring which will allow them to analyze ongoing network traffic and respond to situations in a timely manner. One way to monitor traffic is to use monitoring probes. This thesis focuses on a thorough verification of the parameters of existing probes IPFIX probe and FlexProbe. FlexProbe is a network probe designed for the implementation of lawful interceptions developed at FIT BUT in cooperation with the Police of the Czech Republic. The IPFIX probe is developed by the CESNET association and is used for flow monitoring within the FlexProbe probe. In order to be able to operate the probes in the target environment for a long time, it is necessary to thoroughly test the device. The exact behavior of the probe is defined by the specification requirements that are developed for both probes. Based on the requirements, a comprehensive test system covering functional and performance parameters of the probes was designed. The tests are unified using a test framework and included in automated scenarios implemented in system Jenkins. At the end of the thesis, the coverage of the required properties of the probes and their performance is evaluated.
Testing station for PCB device check
Stejskal, David ; Baštán, Ondřej (referee) ; Arm, Jakub (advisor)
The testing process is not an indispensable part only of production, it serves to verify the properties with regard to the specific requirements for the final product. The main purpose of testing is, without a doubt, to reduce the service costs in the future. It is certainly no surprise that there is an effort to automate this process as efficiently as possible, especially for larger series of products. The purpose of this master's thesis is to design a concept and subsequently an electrical, hardware and software solution of a testing device for the output inspection of manufactured printed circuit boards (PCB). The specificity of the work consists in the creation of a universal testing PCB that can program and debug AVR microprocessors and chips from the company Espressif, and at the same time it is able to perform automatic tests through the so-called customizable PCB. The customizable board is a designation for a test stand that must always be designed specifically for a particular product (tested PCB). To communicate with the peripherals used on this board, the test PCB exclusively uses the I2C bus, the great advantage of which is the need to use only one pair of wires. A service desktop application was created to control and visualize the test process.

Quality software - methods for creating test scenarios
Bobek, Tomáš ; Havlíček, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Jungwirth, Miroslav (referee)
This thesis deals with the issue of testing during software development. The theoretical part describes the methodology and the main concepts that are associated with software testing. The next part focuses on the problematics of access options during the writing test scenarios. The practical part deals with the creation of test scenarios to test the app activity displayed by using UML diagram. An example is evaluated based on the findings from several perspectives especially from the perspective of time consumption.
Testing during development of the banking system
Macháčková, Blanka ; Pavlíček, Josef (advisor) ; Petr, Petr (referee)
The thesis deals with software testing in company, whose activities are financial services . Emphasis is placed on the current development model , which was recently changed from waterfall type to the agile type . This transition is described using the comparison . The work is focused on the ideal composition of the scrum team. Such a team could more easily develop new functionality. Finally, described the tools that are necessary for development and testing . The aim is to analyze and propose improvements in process development testing of new functionality to the financial system. As a result of this activity is a proposal to improve the process , not only testing, but also a process that is itself before starting the tests. Output work is the connection of these analyzes and design process testing, which would save the company costs .
